Cornelia has been involved in elder care law, with a focus on estate administration since 2010. She has extensive experience with all aspects of the estate adminstration process and assists with guardianship proceedings and litigation matters.

Cornelia Hoover attended Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in Lynchburg, Virginia where she earned a B.A. in Economics and graduated Phi Beta Kappa and cum laude. After graduation, she moved to New York City to work in the financial sector. She and her husband, Rod, moved to Charlotte in 1990 and have 4 adult daughters.

She has served in numerous leadership positions with civic organizations, including the Junior League of Charlotte, the Mint Museum Auxiliary, and Wing Haven Gardens. She has also served as Treasurer of the Myers Park High School PTA, President of The Charlotte Assembly and as a Deacon at her church.
